Description
A remarkable Novocraft vintage piece with intricate craftsmanship and carvings, precision design and curves. It has two shelved cubicles on either side of four beautifully crafted drawers. Resting on a solid kiaat base and legs. As with most Mid century pieces solid wood and veneer was used.
We decided on adding a hint of aged hand painted sides, giving it a timeless Industrial look. We’ve restored reclamped and repaired here and there. The top and some spots have visible wear. For vintage lovers who know, imperfections add aesthetic appeal to a three-generation piece.
Novocraft was a South African manufacturer based in Germiston, Johannesburg. As with most mid-century pieces it has veneer and solid wood features.
