Percival Lafer MP-041 Brazilian Rosewood 1960’s  lounge chair set. SOLD

Designed in 1965, Percival Lafer’s MP-041 series presented an innovative, modern aesthetic, with heavy solid hardwood frames and hand-tufted, pre-formed cushions. His idea was to bring good design to everyone. Percival captured the modern movement and used this to craft beautiful furniture. He’s a personal favorite furniture designer and one that brings together the best of what mid-century has to offer.

These matching chairs are super comfy with a low center of gravity. The leather rest on natural leather straps mounted with wooden knobs.

We have the lounge chair with head rest and foot stool, 2 armchairs as the above photos and the couch. They are off to the restorer this week where the woodwork will be sanded down and finished off to accentuate the rosewood grain and beautify the set.
